After Eight - Box Vintage Christmas

Hi Again :D
I had some more to show you today, I have also forgot to publish my DT creation for Vintage Udfordring this time!
The ungoing challenge number 11 over at Vintage Ufordring, is all about decorate a box for christmas :D
And the design team has bin sponsored with laces and vintage images from 'Hobbyboden', and are using these on our prodjects this time :D

I have a ''thing'' for After Eight Boxes, so it's offcourse a after eight box I've made this time too, for my DT-creation at Vintage Ufordring, challenge # 11 :D

I've used; The lace and image are from Vintage Udfordring's sponsor 'Hobbyboden' - I have also used roses from 'I Am Roses', the cut out is something I bought at 'Joruns Hobby' in Arendal, the texts I have used is from North Star Stamps, the one text back is from Kreativ Hobby, I also used pearls and brads, and offcorse distressed all edges and used vintage photo distressink on edges and every ting else aswell :)

Vintage 'After Eight Box'

I'm not good at keeping my blog 'up to date', sorry for that.
Lot's of things have been hard to keep up to date lately... It's bin more or less no time or strengh over for scrapping and card making... not to forget; blogging.
But every Monday I sit together with my ''club'' and try to make something, and that is the highlight of the week :D

This box I have to show you today, is an after eight box that I made to our on going challenge over at Vintage Udfordring. And the task here is to use embossing or UTEE.
I have used UTEE that I have layered, and than layed all the pictures in the freezer and after some hours I took them out and ''broke them like glass'' :D such a cool effect.
Benita over at Vintage Udfordring, has now put out a little tutorial on how to do this ''broken glass effect'', so do check it out! :D

I've used; cant remeber where the pattern papers are from sorry, the rest of what I used is; heart ''sheet'' from a local store in Arendal, flowers and leafs from I Am Roses, rose from Kort & Godt, laces from Joruns Hobby, old book pages, heart charm and key charm. Used my lace border punch from MM and the pics are from Crafty Individuals - used UTEE that I heated up with mye heat tool, and then put in the freezer for cupple of hours :D

{An After Eight box}

Here is a box that I made for a friend, that she ordered :)
Made it out of an medium after eight box.
I've used 3ndy papir papers from last year (2008), and brown and beige bazzil carton. Used a lot of bling, prima roses and charm. text stamps are from Kreativ Hobby and the swirl stamp on top, surounding the text stamp are from (...), used laces and small swirl stamp, used chalk ink on all edges.
Also used Martha Stewert border punch.

~ After Eight box & ChristmasCallenderGifts ~

At New Year we were at some friends to celebrate, and I made this after eight box for the landlady (learned a new word there-lol-) And she liked it very much :)

Iv'e used brown and green bazzil, prima flowers, white magic mesh, pink tickets, no less than 3 image stamps from Magnolia, all painted with distress ink refillers :) aslo used glitter glue on flowers and KaiserCraft bling :) the text stamp is from North Star Stamps :)

{ After Eight Boxes!! }

And here they finally are, all the 7 that I had left to make. I've made those this past week :)

I'm going to make no less than 10 of these after eight boxes for christmas presents this year :) They are so fun to make, so it will not be a problem I guess *giggle*

This year we just found out, that we were not to buy expensive presents for our kids grandparents or great grand parents, so then I desided to make these bokses for them, after I attended that class at Steffens :)
