birthday party

It has bin quiet here at my blog for a long time. Just some post with some of my DT works now and then.
My two kids has the varicella (had to look up the word though, thought it was actually called something with chicken poks or something hi hi, oh well..) anyway: they have bin sick all week long, but it is my oldest who got it bad. lots of, lots of spots all over her body poor thing, itching madly all the time but specially at night... so it has bin a hard week. But I shouldn't complane actually... more things worse than varicella out there!!
I am too, struggleing with something, I just don't know what it might be. I am just totaly out of strengh, and my body aches all over, specially after sitting for a while. specially at my back I have huge pain... If it continues I have to contact a doctor... I think... oh well... enough of complaning for this time, just had to say a kind of why there has not bin any other post here at my blog:D

But now I at least have a card I made for the new challenge we have over at Kort O Mania!!
The task this time is that you are to make a card or a creations of some sort with 5 stamps on the front of the project! It can be motivs, text, swirls etc... as long as we can se them all! :D
when I made my card, I had a lot of fun masking together 4 stamps of WoJ and a text stamp!
It is a very clean & simpel card from me this time, I am not to pleased with it, but it was what i manage to come up with this time...

And then I have a card to show you, that I made when I attend at my ''scrapping club'' one time some weeks ago. where I made a little different welcome to the world card for one of the girls of our ''scrapping club'', that gave birht to a son little over a month ago now :D
the motive I am not sure where is from, but I got it from my friend Nicole at my ''scrapping club'' :D A very colorful card and this too I was not to pleased with how it turned out, but it was OK I think;

oh my gosh that's bin a while right?
I thought so too, and I had to dig deep after my pictures and when I found them, I put it into my mind; that - I am to make a layout for challenge # 16 over at Scrappekammeret!
And so I did :D
And for the challenge # 16 we have a picture for you to get inspired by, and the colors are so great :D check it out here!

I did a bit of an artfull layout infact, and I was happy with how it turned out :D
Fun and happy layout, showing off my oldest when she was so proud of her high pony-tale :D And in the same time captured all off her funny faces :D
And to get the pictures in foucus, I made the whole thing without any papers, just drew on it and colored with pencils :D

At Scrappekammeret we also have a christmas countdown!
Yes we do! :D
And everyday until christmaseve, you will find something related to christmas, and there is also great inspiration to find, by us in the DT. But also from others :D Great fun! :D
And I did make a christmas card with some great papers and stash that we got from our sponsors of that series. And here is the card I came up with;

Is it Christmas soon?

And oh my!
It is not long until it is!!

So I found out I had to start on my christmas cards!
And here is my first chistmas card, and here I have used lots of colors and on of my new favorite stamps by the little mouse Henry from WoJ :D
So so adorable! :D
It's bin sutch a long time since I sat down and just made a card, for just the purpus of making one. And it was so nice :D
And long time it has bin since I have entered a challenge.
So I am entering this card in these following challenges;

Sweet Stampin Challenge blog : challenge # 46 is about 'Punch it out' ( I have used my snowflake punch from MS and my round corner punch :D)

Nordsalten - Hobbyklubb; utfordring # 15 - Jul i Oktober med snøkrystaller ( og det har jeg jo på :D )

I've used; papers from (gotta come back to that one.........), bazzil carton, big silver corner from Kort & Godt, Snowflake punch from MS and added some glitter on them. Also used pearls from Kort & Godt (i think they where from) The image is Whiff Of Joy, the text stamp outside are from North Star Stamps and the text stamp inside and the swirl are from Kreativ Hobby :D

Black Vintage

I had so much fun making this card!
It did take me some hours though, because I have used so much paint (Gesso) that had to dry before I could work further on it. And the black flowers you see 'under there', those I have cut out by hand from a paper line called My Minds Eye /Lush, from Love2scrap.
Love2scrap are this month sponsor over at Vintage Challenges, and the DT has bin given some papers and brads to play with. And those papers and brads I have used here, is what I recived.
It was a huge challenge for me to come up with something vintage using only black, And I Think I manage to make it vintage? :D But wow I had so fun! :D
And the new challenge over at Vintage Challenge is FUN, you are to play with paint/Gesso, other than that, you can do and make whatever you like!

art card - own background paper

It's the 16th in the month, an that's meen that Kort 'O' Mania is having a new challenge!
For challeng number 24 we are going a bit atistic.
You are to make you own background!
Use what ever you like, to make it, as long as you make it from scrach :D

I did use Medium Gel, Acrylic paint, a little bit of white crackle paint and different Tim Holtz Stamps :D

A Boys Card

Vintage Udfordring it out with challenge number 7!
And this time we would like you to use waved carton (not sure what it is called in english actually) or 'Bølgepapp' as we say it in Norweegian :P

I made a card using this type of cartong as a paper, kind of :D And I painted it with white crackle paint :D
This card I aslo made during my tutorial making, as I did for Vintage Udfordring :D

Pink vintage - homemade heart flower!

Vintage Udfordring has it's challenge number 6 out now!
And this time we want you to make flowers!
Home made flowers!

And I have made a card using one of these flowers here;

the papers I have used here is from Kaizercraft (i think). I also used my new border & corner punch from MS, the home made heart-flowers are made out of old book pages/brad/glimmermist, the image is one of my new magnolia stamps (tilda with vintage flowers) and she is painted with my new color pencils that I bought from Nicole :D the text stamps are from North star stamps!

I got the baby & expecting kit and that was a challenge it's self LOL
But my sister needed a card to gice away, and it was to a boy, so it came to use :D

Pink Birthday

For my DT creations for Kort 'O' Mania, I made a pink girly card.
We in the DT team was sponsored with some images from Meljen's Design. Who is one of this month sponsors over at Kort 'O' Mania. And I got this cute cute fairy horse called Frufru Fairy Pony. So Cute!
And perfect for girly birthday cards :D
This time the challenge is all about stitching! You can choose to use a machine, or do it by hand or even draw some :D It's up to you :D
I used a machine :D

The papers I have used is from Kaizercraft, and I also used flowers from kort&godt, leafs from Prima, liquid pearl pink and the text stamps are from North Star Stamps! The image is painted with color pencils!! and has got a little tuch of glitter stick aswell :D

DT~Vintage Udfordring {altered something}

Oh gosh! It has bin a while since I have done some blogging!
The Time flies by, and there is so much other things to do first, than scrapbooking/cardmaking etc. sadly as it is :D

But before the summer, I did altered a box that I had :)
And the new challenge over at Vintage Udfordring is now out! And it is all about decorating/ altered something!!
But remember, it has to be a Vintage procjet, alright? :D

A get well card :D

Challenge # 21 over at Kort 'O' Mania this time is a color combo! And The colors you are to use are; Green, Yellow and Black!!

My DT card is one of the few I manage to make before my things where packed!
And I made this card to my good blog friend Anne Bente;
miss you girl! And really hope you get well soon!
( savner deg! og håper virkelig du snart blir bra igjen! )

The image I have used here is from one of the newest stamps that I bought before the summer, in my mind just know, I can't remember the name, sorry :P
And I am to look up the names of the papers I have used here aswell, cus' can't even remember that! One month is way to long ago LOL

I can't wait to see what you all come up with this time. Such cool colors to work with, I really thought so :D
